The Bridge Tank joined the works of the G20-related Think 20 Summit and T20 Innovation Forum held by the China Science and Technology Exchange Center that will take place on July 30 in Beijing with the theme “Towards a Collaborative, Inclusive and Dynamic Global Environment”.
It is organized with the support of three Chinese think tanks: the Institute of World Economics and Politics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (IWEP,CASS), the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) and the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY).
This forum will provide an opportunity for all stakeholders among the G20 to present and share best practices and policies on science, technology, and innovation. It will bring together governments, NGOs, businesses, scholars and think tanks, including The Bridge Tank. Joel Ruet, chairman of The Bridge Tank, will be there to observe and take part to the debates on innovation, development, and the role of science and technology for sustainable development, which all happen to be key pillars of The Bridge Tank’s model. He will also give a talk on the theme “Evaluation and Forecast of Innovation Capacity”.
