We have mapped the relevant regional and global Forums where our members have engaged into a recurring dialogue. Building on the clusters of ideas we developed, we take our “pilgrim’s stick” to identify the potentialities for future game-changing platforms.
On the sidelines of the opening of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly, Joël Ruet, chairman of The Bridge Tank, participated in a number of events in New York City, organized by the African Union and the IDLO (International Development Law Organization).
The ninth edition of the Convergences World Forum, with the theme “Inventing Tomorrow’s Sustainable Cities and Territories”, took place November 5-7 at the Palais Brongniart in Paris. Joséphine Glorion of the Bridge Tank attended several conferences of this forum focused on the objective “Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty”.
El Haj Kassé, Minister-Counsellor of the Senegalese President Macky Sall and Board Member of the Bridge Tank, was a member of the Senegalese presidential’s delegation which arrived in Hangzhou,China, for the upcoming G20 Summit on September 4th and 5th.
Indu Krishnaswamy, from The Bridge Tank attended, the 12th Innovation Summit hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) held on July 28th and 29th. The event was held in Bengaluru, India and was focused on “Celebrating the Entrepreneur”.
The Bridge Tank joined the works of the G20-related Think 20 Summit and T20 Innovation Forum held by the China Science and Technology Exchange Center that will take place on July 30 in Beijing with the theme “Towards a Collaborative, Inclusive and Dynamic Global Environment”.
The Bridge Tank participated at the MedCOP Climate Conference in Tangier, Morocco on the 18th and 19th of July, as part of the preparations for the COP 22. This year’s MedCOP conference was organised by the regional Council of the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, it is the second conference of parties of the coastal states of the Mediterranean on climate change. The Business Dialogue under the theme “Water and Climate Change” organized by the CGEM (General Confederation of Moroccan Companies) took place in Tangier on July 17.
