Lyon – Morocco-France, a partnership to be strengthened for a co-development dynamic in Africa

The Bridge Tank, which pays particular attention to the development of inclusive growth models in Africa, will participate on the 24th of May at the conference “Economic Cooperation Morocco France: New Partnerships for New Horizons”, organised at the headquarters of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Regional Council.

The objective of the conference, at which Joël Ruet will discuss the topic of “The Morocco-France Partnership in third-party countries”, is to further dynamize the economic cooperation between Morocco and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region.

Located at the gateway to Africa, Morocco enjoys a strategic position and is a dynamic model of growth open to the continent.

Due to its’ geographic position, France is at the convergence of Northern and Southern Europe. In this way, France is able to interact with Europe and the African continent, and to contribute to favouring a dynamic of co-development towards Africa in long-term triangular partnerships.

Therefore, this conference will be an opportunity for The Bridge Tank to observe the implementation of this strategic partnership, and to evaluate its’ potential while taking into account the new realities of African societies and economies.
